This piece is sewn for you in Hamburg. We import the tweed directly from the Isle of Lewis – where it has been woven on traditional looms for generations.

Caring for Harris Tweed
Tweed is naturally dirt- and water-repellent. Shaking out or wiping with a damp cloth is usually enough.

For heavier soiling: lukewarm hand wash with wool detergent, dry flat. Do not tumble dry.

Dachshund collar with bow tie in Harris Tweed®

They say the blue of the Highlands is born where the sky touches the sea. Arthur has never verified that. He just stands there, nose in the wind, letting his gaze wander – over heather, over stone, to where the world dissolves into blue-grey. Some dachshunds bark. Arthur is silent. And in his silence lies everything.

He wears the “Highland Blue” set as a matter of course: collar and bow tie in genuine Harris Tweed®, hand-sewn in our Hamburg manufactory. The bow tie sits on the snap button – secure for the appearance, swapped in seconds via Velcro when he fancies a different blue. The collar adjusts too, and grows with him. Because style, as Arthur knows, is not a uniform. It's an attitude.

In the evening, when the light sweeps flat across the land and the shadows grow long, Arthur does his round. Not hurried, not casual – simply exactly right. You can tell he's arrived. Somewhere between sky and heather, between craftsmanship and composure.
